Energy Balance and The Eatwell guide

Course description:

This session is run by qualified nutritionists at beezee bodies and will give you a clear understanding of Energy Balance, the basics of healthy eating and The Eatwell guide. The session will be informal and participation and questions from participants are most welcome 

The session will cover the concept of energy in vs energy out, the different food groups, examples of foods from each section and why they are important. We will explain what foods and nutrients children need to grow and be healthy, in order to set them up for a great start in life


This course would be suitable for:

  • Community Youth volunteers and Mentors
  • Any practitioners with an active interest in well-being of participants and colleagues alike
  • Community sport project leaders
  • Community coaches
