Advance Safeguarding Children (Level 2)
This is an online class via zoom
The aim of this workshop is to develop an enhanced understanding of safeguarding children including identifying and responding to concerns.
This workshop introduces safeguarding as a topic and covers key safeguarding areas such as safeguarding jargon, the pieces of legislation that relate to safeguarding children as well as looking at the types of abuse a child can suffer. The workshop will also cover what they need to do if they suspect a child is being abused or discloses sensitive information to them.

Jacquie Hime has over 15 years’ experience of working in the voluntary and community sector supporting groups to develop and grow.
As one of Hertfordshire Community Foundation’s trainers she provides advice and guidance on a number of topics including fundraising and strategic development.
In her previous role she was responsible for oversight of her organisation’s disabled children’s playscheme and is currently the trustee responsible for safeguarding of 2 charities.
