About this workshop
This two hour workshop is delivered online and will include a mix of lecture style information and interactive/small group discussion.
This workshop aims to:
- To explore why anxiety is more common in children with ADHD/Autism
- To understand the link between anxiety and behaviour.
- To explore proactive strategies to reduce anxiety in different age groups
- To discuss what to do ‘in the heat of the moment’ when a child is highly anxious.
- To know where to get more help
Who is this course for:
Staff working for organisations running Herts HAPpy Camps 2022. The course will be delivered by two ADHD/Autism Specialist Trainers from ADD-vance

is a dedicated group of professionals, who also happen to be parents of children affected by ADHD and/or Autism.
Our mission is to support the families of children affected by these conditions and the professionals involved in their care.
We want to increase understanding, provide support and change perceptions of these complex neurological conditions, so as to improve the wellbeing and reduce the social isolation of these young people and their families.
