This QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification has been designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. Please note, this comprehensive training covers children from 0 years up to 18 years old.
Successful candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the emergency paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the skills needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, such as performing CPR and controlling external bleeding.
In response to demand from our HAppy providers we are offering two different first aid courses, Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid in the Workplace. The is no official guidance (Government or other) for providers with regards to which of the two first aid course they should complete. Providers should review their risk assessments and decide which course is most appropriate for their teams to attend. Both courses are regarded as valid certifications and we have no preference with regards to which course your team attend.
